ADVENT25 FILE_ID

Mistigram: introducing ADVENT25, our third annual #ANSIart #AdventCalendar. Enclosed is an executable program, and every day this month up to Dec 25th it will display that new date's illustration and allow you to view the previous screens. Andyh's MS-DOS executable can be run via 16colo.rs or in DOSbox, and j0hnny a1pha's BBS door fork will allow you to have the daily screens displayed via participating bulletin board services.

The #ASCIIart cat in the FILE_ID artwork is by The Green Herring, whose work you will be seeing a lot of in this collection!

MIST-30/ILLARTERATE_MRZERO

A charismatic cyborg offers colour commentary on a futuristic race

Mistigram: this fauvist portrait of #MrZero, the announcer from the #FZero racing games, was drawn by

illarterate and won 1st place in the Nova 2024 demoparty's #Teletext compo. It was also included a year ago in the MIST-30 30th anniversary celebration artpack collection.

Mistigram: this piece, TheWarOnXmas' amazing #ASCIIart remix of AFlamingoCup's incredible "Well-Dressed Ghost" pixelart piece from MIST1020 four years earlier, was included in last year's MIST-30 artpack collection, one of an awesome handful of updates and revisitations to worthwhile works lurking in our extensive back catalogue.
